The toll applies to all vehicles and covers a 27 mile (43 kilometre) length of road. Toll charges depend on the distance travelled and vehicle category (for further information visit http://www.m6toll.co.uk/pricing/). The tolled length of motorway, the M6 Toll, runs parallel to the usually congested, toll-free sections of the M6 and passes through the counties of Warwickshire, West Midlands and Staffordshire. Drivers can leave or join the M6 Toll at various junctions along the route. The DKV CARD can be used in the lane designated for card payments or at a manned toll booth. Settlement through the DKV CARD is invoiced twice monthly as well as being clearly set out in DKV eREPORTING.
