Entry-level articulated forklift option
5th August 2015
Narrow Aisle Ltd have introduced a low cost, entry-level Flexi Ac model to their market leading range of articulated forklift trucks.
The Flexi Ac NANO has been specifically designed for customers in the high street and SME sector who want to save costs on their light- to medium-duty storage and handling applications by using a truck that can work in 1.6-metre aisles and operate both inside and outside the warehouse.
The Flexi Ac NANO truck can lift loads weighing up to 1.6 tones to heights of up to 5 metres and can offer optimum pallet put-away and retrieval in aisles as narrow as 1.6 metres.
The NANO benefits from a high voltage heavy-duty battery system with convenient on-board charging while the use of highly efficient standard components – but with a lower capacity than those offered in other high performance Flexi variants – allows the NANOs build costs to be minimized.
Considered an ideal forklift option for use in the manufacturing, distribution and retail sectors, the Flexi Ac NANO retains many of the key features that have established the Flexi Ac brand as one of the worlds best selling articulated forklift ranges.
Like all Flexi models, the NANO features front wheel drive technology and can articulate to 220 degrees, making it possible to pick and put away pallets in the narrowest aisleways. This means that the Flexi Ac NANO can save warehouse operators at least 30 per cent of their storage costs.
Furthermore, in common with other Flexi models, the NANO can unload pallets from road vehicles or goods-in receiving areas and deliver loads directly to the storage racks – reducing handling costs by 50 per cent for many users.
With the new entry-level Flexi Ac NANO, we are offering a cost effective alternative to the high performance Flexi models that are available, says John Maguire, sales and marketing director of Flexi Narrow Aisle.
He continues: The NANO is perfect for those companies that do not operate around the clock or demand a high level of handling performance but would still like to take advantage of the space and materials handling cost savings that Flexi articulated truck technology offers.
