Dr. Carsten-Endres Sowa (50) has been the site manager of the chemical services company Schirm in Lubeck since 1 June this year. Schirm, a wholly owned subsidiary of IMPERIAL Logistics International, operates as a neutral production service company for the chemical industry. Dr. Sowa replaces Dr. Lars Ostermann, who will be the portfolio manager formulation in future; among other things, he will be responsible for drawing up and introducing a production and plant concept for all the company’s sites. The chemistry graduate from the University of Hamburg, who has a doctorate, was the factory manager at Lord Germany GmbH in Huckelhoven before his move to Schirm. Prior to this, Dr. Sowa held management positions in what was known as Bayer AG and was the business location and factory manager in the DyStar Group, a former joint venture between BASF, Bayer and Hoechst.

The Lubeck site mainly produces solid materials for the agricultural industry. Schirm is a neutral production services company and operates various mixing and grinding units, extruders and dryers and different filling devices for solid and liquid products.
