New Germany/Austria Country Manager for Fuel and Service Card Provider

Union Tank Eckstein GmbH & Co. KG (UTA) has appointed a new Country Manager for Germany and Austria. As of February, Rudolf Henschel (pictured) will be the new head of sales in both countries. The 35-year-old will continue to pursue the new sales strategy, which UTA will use to strengthen customer contact in the German home market and in Austria. He reports directly to Gabriel Moulènes, Area Manager Northern and Central Europe.

Rudolf Henschel replaces Andreas Kupfer and Matthias Striegel, who have been responsible for operations and strategy in Germany and Austria. Since July 2016, Andreas Kupfer has restructured sales in the German home market to further accommodate the needs of the market. He will leave the company in mid-March. “We thank Andreas Kupfer for his commitment in preparing UTA for the future in the German home market,” says Volker Huber, CEO at UTA. As Head of Field Sales South, Matthias Striegel is responsible for field sales in southern Germany.
