Freight forwarding and logistics specialist Xpediator Plc, which is based in the UK and Central & Eastern Europe and which changed its group name from Delamode as part of its listing on the London Stock Exchange in August this year, announced its half year results this morning. Revenues are up by 56% to £49.1 million and operating profit up by 23% to £1.3 million.

Freight forwarding, which trades under the Delamode brand, increased revenues by 55% boosted by the focus on full load movements and a strong performance from the Balkan region.

Revenues for the Logistics division increased by 64% helped by the contribution from the Company’s recent acquisition of the UK fashion logistics operator, EMT Logistics. Looking ahead, Xpediator is focused on pursuing its acquisition strategy to make bolt-on acquisitions of complementary businesses backed by the new capital raised at IPO.

Xpediator is also pursuing its expansion of B2C e-commerce proposition EshopWedrop by franchising the brand in key markets across Europe..
