Priority Freight Recognised for Rapid Growth

Priority Freight, the Kent-based freight specialist, has officially been recognised as one of the fastest-growing companies in the global automotive supply chain. Neal Williams, Group Managing Director of Priority Freight, was named Rising Star: Logistics at the 2015 Automotive Supply Chain Global Awards, held at Claridges Hotel, London.
Neal was announced as winner of the rising star category for his success in steering the company to sustained growth. The judges recognised that Priority Freights innovative solutions and high levels of service had led to a significant upward trend with business quadrupling in international sales. 2014 was the firms most successful year to date, with a record turnover of ?48.5m.

Founded in 1996, Priority Freight has grown to become a leading international provider of time-critical logistics solutions, with a proven track record in the global automotive, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries. The companys first shipment, almost 20 years ago, was by road to deliver supplies from Dover Docks to Orly airport, Paris, where they were urgently required for a global airlines inflight services.
In 2014, Priority Freight chartered the worlds largest aircraft, the Antonov An-225, to transport 150 tonnes of car manufacturer equipment. With several strategically-located control centres, Priority Freight operates 24/7 across the globe, handling over 100,000 expedited shipments each year.
By the end of 2016, Priority Freight has ambitions to increase turnover by a further 25% and will increase headcount to approximately 150 employees to support the anticipated extra demand.
