Aramark, the foodservices, facilities and property management giant, used its Annual Supplier conference in the Guinness Storehouse to officially launch the new Aramark Northern Europe structure and to brief suppliers as to what this will mean for them. The new amalgamated region sees the Aramark UK, Irish and Off-Shore foodservice, facilities and property businesses merge into one Super region.

Speaking to suppliers at the launch were President for Aramark Europe, Quenten Wentworth and President for Aramark Northern Europe, Donal O’Brien. They were joined by members of the senior leadership team in Frank Gleeson (pictured, MD of Aramark Northern Europe) Aidan Bell (MD Aramark Workplace Solutions), David Barker (Sales Director), Clive Cooper (VP Supply Chain) and Stephen Brennan (Supply Chain Director).

Speaking at the launch Frank Gleeson informed suppliers of the strategy and ambition of the Group to continue sustainable growth into 2017 and beyond. Premium B&I, Leisure Entertainment and Retail are the growth sectors for 2017. With The Food Court at Dundrum Town Centre, Cork Airport and a number of UK Museums now secured Aramark are already well placed to deliver on their growth objectives.

Supply Chain Director Stephen Brennan updated suppliers on what the changes will mean for the supply base – “our new organisational structure aims to reduce duplication and increase mutual efficiency by aligning category responsibilities and adopting common, best practice processes across the region. We are confident that establishing our Northern Europe structure provides a fantastic opportunity for suppliers to grow their business with Aramark in the coming years.”
