Alpha Industrial, the investor, project developer and asset manager of logistics and industrial real estate, has signed a further long-term contract covering a usable area of 5,000 sqm for the newly developed industrial site at Obertshausen (Offenbach district).

Alpha Industrial, the investor, project developer and asset manager of logistics and industrial real estate, has signed a further long-term contract covering a usable area of 5,000 sqm for the newly developed industrial site at Obertshausen (Offenbach district). This means that the new 12,000-sqm distribution centre 4 (DC4) has now reached full occupancy. Overall, three companies currently employing a total of 100 people at the site have been acquired as new tenants. The next building phase could see the construction of a further approx. 15,000 sqm of state-of-the-art service, production and industrial space in the business park, which is located on the A3 and served by its own motorway exit.


“The Obertshausen site provides optimal sales opportunities and distribution channels due to its excellent transport connections. The fact that full occupancy has been achieved for DC4 once again confirms and illustrates that the Alpha A3 business park is an attractive location for international corporate groups as well as companies based in the Rhine-Main area,”
said Kathrin Fuhrmann, responsible for development and acquisition at Alpha Industrial. “Between 1,400 sqm and 15,000 sqm of additional space could be realised in the next construction phase, for which a planning application has already been submitted.”

Already at the start of the year, hygiene and occupational clothing specialist CWS-boco Deutschland from Dreieich opted to lease 2,500 sqm of warehouse space and approx. 500 sqm of office and social space. Another tenant is Turkish jeans manufacturer MAVI Europe AG, which leased 4,000 sqm of warehouse space and 500 sqm of office space. In addition, an Aral filling station including an Aral-Shop and carwash has been based on the site since 2014. Here, a long-term lease agreement was signed with BP Europa.
