Logistics BusinessRomania Award Win for Lödige Industries

Germany material handler Lödige Industries has won a top business award in Romania.

The Topul National Al Firmelor 2018, a national gala event in its 25th year, honours companies based on net turnover, operating profit, efficiency of the use of human resources and employed capital. Romania’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry staged the event at the Romexpo Exhibition Centre in the presence of Romanian President, Klaus Iohannis.

Lödige Industries’ production facility in Romania was awarded first place in the production of lifting and handling equipment among 8,773 medium-size companies.

Luana Costescu-Guran, Managing Director of Lödige Machine S.R.L., who received the award from the hands of Mr Mihai Daraban, the President of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce, expressed her pleasure: “We are incredibly proud to receive this award for our facility in Brasov. We produce lifting and handling machines for Lödige’s projects worldwide. Lifting tables, elevating workstations, truck docks and conveyors produced in Brasov are installed in air freight terminals, car parking systems and as goods handling equipment in projects in Germany, the UK, Turkey, Finland and many other countries. I think, I can speak on behalf of our 110 members of staff here in Brasov, when I say that we feel honoured to receive this award.”
