Logistics BusinessInnovative Vertical Elevation Schemes On Show This Spring

Vertical elevation specialist, Nerak Wiese, will be promoting its innovative solutions for transporting both unit loads and bulk solids at two key exhibitions this spring.

On 16-17 March, the Nerak sales team will be available on stand 151 at IntraLogisteX, taking place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena. Then from 11-15 April the Nerak experts will be on stand 5484 at the NEC in Birmingham for MACH 2016. Explained Simon Musgrave, Sales Director, “These two trade shows are highly focused events, giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our vast expertise in vertical elevation to key decision-makers in the logistics and manufacturing sectors.”

Nerak Wiese will be explaining to visitors at both events the renowned rubber block chain that lies at the heart of all Nerak conveyor drive systems. With vulcanized steel cables embedded in the link-free design, the technology ensures high strength and quiet operation, while avoiding both corrosion and the need for lubrication.

Two solutions that are proving increasingly popular in the Nerak Wiese range are the continuous platform elevator – or ‘box lifter’ – ¬and the mezzanine lift. Configurable in ‘S’ or ‘C’ shapes, the Nerak box lifter is the ideal solution for the high-throughput elevation of cartons, totes, boxes, packets and even unusual loads. Meanwhile – with models to suit the vertical transport of many types of load including totes, boxes, pallets, stillages, dollies and roll cages – the counterbalanced design of Nerak Wiese’s mezzanine lifts means that they are extremely energy-efficient.

Also known for its continuous and pendulum bucket elevators for the smooth and silent conveying of bulk solids in manufacturing operations, Nerak Wiese serves a range of industries, with clients including John Lewis, Bisley Office Furniture and Swisslog.
