Logistics BusinessTNT Plans New South East Hub

Following the opening of TNT’s South West super depot in Swindon (UK) in October 2015, the company has announced plans for a new international road hub and combined domestic regional sort centre in the Dartford (Kent) area.

The multi-million euro development is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to invest in its core European network and enhance operational efficiency and service quality. The state of the art bespoke 600,000 sq ft site is expected to open in Q2 2017.

Steve Meadows, International Network and Operations Director TNT UK International and Ireland said: “The Dartford area was chosen for its strong road links and proximity to the South East of England and Greater London, as well as both ferry and Eurotunnel services.”

The development is being carried out by Exton Estates, a commercial property company specialising in the development of office and industrial property in London and the South East, in partnership with CWC Group.
