Yorkshire Company Wins International RFID Award

Software application and engineering company Red Ledge has won the 2016 Technology Innovator Award for ‘Best International RFID Company’.

Based in West Yorkshire, UK, Red Ledge operates internationally, using RFID and related technologies to improve processes and productivity in supply chain and other markets.

Red Ledge’s says its ability to read and respond to market demand with popular, cost-competitive RFID-driven solutions for manufacturing, logistics, retail and public safety clients has paid dividends for the Company which says it is growing at 40% per annum.

According to industry research the total RFID market was worth $10.1 billion in 2015 including tags, readers and software/services for both passive and active RFID – and is forecast to rise to $13.2 billion by 2020 (Source: market research company IDTechEx – www.idtechex.com)
