Two New Thermal Transfer Models For Logistics Printer Specialist

TSC Auto ID is expanding its TE200 desktop printer series with two further thermal transfer models. Both, TE210 and TE310, can be used flexibly for a variety of print requirements in all sectors. The company says “they impress by enormous storage capacity, maximum printing length and numerous modern interfaces”.
The innovative compact printers include state-of-the-art interfaces such as USB 2.0, Internal Ethernet, RS-232, USB host for scanner and PC keyboard and, as additional options, Internal Bluetooth 4.0 and External Bluetooth. Compared with previous basic models of this series, memory capacity was significantly extended – now, there are 128 MB Flash and 64 MB SDRAM available for storage of logos, graphics, barcodes and fonts. With 25.400 mm and 11.430 mm, the maximum print length of TE210 and TE310 is up to ten times longer than the print length of the basic models. Another new standard feature is real time clock and buzzer option. Furthermore, TE210 features a print resolution of 203 dpi at an industry best 6 ips, TE310 with 300 dpi at 5 ips.
These new thermal transfer printers are compatible with both 1/2” core 72 metre to 110 metres or 1” core 300 metres thermal transfer ribbons allowing the customer to use whichever supply of ribbons they have available. The big internal media capacity handles indus-try standard 5” OD labels on 1” or 1,5” cores, an optional external media holder provides additional capacities and easy loading. In addition, the new TE200 series is equipped with a variety of mod-ern sensors such as Gap and Black mark for accurate label regis-tration and a reliable print process.
The print mechanism can be used separately for integration into specific manufactured designs, including kiosk applications, small label applicators, two colour on-demand printing and two-sided printing. The printers are well-suited for high printing requirements in retail, logistics, small and home offices or production, and able to print high quality labels all day long, producing thousands of clear, accurate barcode and identification labels per day.
