ASCM Brings Supply Chain Insights to Brussels

In an era of constant disruption, rapid digitization and growing consumer demands, supply chain professionals need to stay on top of the latest emerging and best practices to keep their supply chains resilient and profitable. ASCM, the global leader in supply chain organizational transformation, innovation and leadership, provides industry professionals with essential insights about the global technologies, trends and innovations.

ASCM CONNECT 2024: Europe brings together the top supply chain minds from around the world to share real-world solutions, actionable insights and exciting networking opportunities. The two-day event taking place June 4-5 in Brussels will feature 40 expert speakers plus two keynotes, 24 educational sessions, seven connection cafes and four panel discussions. The conference also offers coaching about best practices and insights into the latest trends and technology to support industry executives and emerging supply chain leaders alike.

This year’s keynote speakers are Chris Southworth, secretary general of ICC United Kingdom, and Amir Ghannad, leadership and development specialist and cultural transformation catalyst at The Ghannad Group. Attendees can also join presentations from industry experts at leading organizations such as IBM, SAP, Kraft Heinz, Kinaxis, PwC and more.

On-point presentations

Within the educational session lineup are four learning paths:
• Stability, Resilience and Agility
• Digital Capabilities, Technologies and Enablers
• Talent, Leadership and Transformation
• Sustainability, Circularity and Climate

These learning paths are inspired by ASCM’s Top 10 Supply Chain Trends of 2024, which tracks the key forces shaping the future of supply chains. These trends are more than predictions, but imperatives for supply chain success, and ASCM is committed to delivering the tools and knowledge supply chain professionals need to succeed.

In fact, Michael Mowat, supply chain consulting lead UKI at IBM and one of the committee members who helped compile the top trends list, will be presenting about supply chain digital transformations, reflecting the top trend of 2024. Other exciting presentations include Optimizing Your Supply Chain for Resilience, Supply Chain Robotization: Autonomous Mobile Robots in Warehousing and “S for Supply Chain Sustainability.

Networking nodes

The Connection Cafes will offer 60-minute, small-group, interactive workshops focused on a certain topic, such as the impact of artificial intelligence on supply chain transformation, bidirectional orchestration of demand and supply, operationalizing sustainability, and more.

In the Exhibit Hall, companies will share their newest products and services. Attendees can discover new solutions to their supply chain challenges. Throughout the event, attendees will have a variety of opportunities to connect with other industry leaders from around the world. The opening and closing receptions, coffee breaks, networking lunches and after-hours party will foster connection and camaraderie.

Learn more about SCOR

Arrive early, on June 3, for a pre-conference Supply Chain Operations Reference – Digital Standard (SCOR-DS) Case Symposium to learn how companies are using the model to guide their transformation journeys. ASCM’s Top 10 Supply Chain Trends of 2024 list shows that the latest supply chain architectures will necessitate the development of new skills and knowledge, particularly related to the SCOR-DS model. This workshop will give professionals an opportunity to better understand and leverage this pacesetting tool.
