Tom Moorhouse and Son Limited has added 12 DAF CF85-460 6×2 Space Cabs to its Huddersfield-based general haulage fleet as direct replacements for ageing DAF XFs. The new trucks have been supplied by Ryder as part of a 14-vehicle and 15-trailer contract hire deal.
The Euro 6 specification DAF CFs have better fuel economy, and the larger SpaceCab version provides excellent driver comfort, said Tom Moorhouses financial director, Josie Galloway. We also took the opportunity to design a new livery in-house, which will give us a smart new brand presence on the road.
