Dambach Lagersysteme, a supplier of powerful rail-guided stacker cranes with telescopic forks, chain conveyors and shuttles with power cap technology, is promising to turn the high bay apron into a dynamic zone.

Dambach’s modular materials-handling technology, consisting of chain conveyor, roller conveyor, lift table and turntable for loads of up to 1500kg, driven by frequency-controlled geared motors, aims to form the ideal connection to high-bay storage. With throughput rates of more than 200 pallets per hour, the apron becomes a dynamic area.

Controlled acceleration, braking and positioning ensure that all loads are carried safely and carefully. Coordinated transfer stations lead to high availability and smooth interfaces between materials-handling systems and rail-guided stacker cranes.

Meanwhile, Dambach says that the use of energy storage methods in the rail-guided stacker crane has enabled it to reduce the connected power load by a factor of five. Such storage methods make feeding energy back into the power supply unnecessary. The drain on the power supply is reduced and supply fluctuations are smaller.

Dambach rail-guided stacker cranes and pallet-handling systems reduce interfaces, ease commissioning and ensure satisfied customers worldwide.
