Logistics BusinessExpress Parcel Services Looks To The Future With Pallet Network

Greater Manchester-based haulage company Express Parcel Services (EPS) has become the latest organisation to join the growing Pallet-Track network.

Founded in Middleton in 1971, the family-owned business has demonstrated regular year-on-year growth – expanding to open sites in Cannock, Chadderton, Larkhall, Sherburn-in-Elmet and Wrexham.

Jamie Taylor, director at EPS, said: “Over the past 45 years, we have built up an excellent reputation for quality and flexibility which our clients have come to expect. Joining the Pallet-Track network as a shareholder member means that we are now able to offer an even greater variety of services and deliver unparalleled levels of customer care.

“We were particularly impressed by the network’s market-leading IT offering which allows for full ‘track and trace’ of all products – from collection of goods through to delivery.
”

Pallet-Track’s comprehensive data capture system records delivery details and allows for electronic signatures to be taken at the point of delivery, providing customers with a comprehensive logistics solution for large and small consignments.

Nigel Parkes, founder and managing director at Pallet-Track, said: “EPS is an organisation with a rich history in the industry, which will complement the Pallet-Track network.

“This is our fourth new member this year and we have every intention of continuing to grow.”
