Logistics BusinessHarrison C White To Take Major Stake in Anchor Freight

Harrison C White Ltd (HCW)has signed a Heads of Terms and Exclusivity Agreement with Anchor
Freight Ltd that would see HCW acquire a substantial stake in Anchor Freight.

Anchor Freight Limited is one of Scotland’s most experienced independent shipping and logistics
companies, which was started in 1997 and blossomed under the Guidance of Bill Rinn, the much
loved and well respected late Managing Director. Over the years they have developed a diverse
portfolio of unique and customised services.

Today they provide liner agency, NVOCC, freight forwarding, RORO shipping and trucking services to
a wide range of global blue chip companies, and SME’s across various sectors. Backed by their extensive
global network of agents and partners, their experienced team of freight professionals have built
an excellent reputation for delivering innovative freight solutions coupled with competitive rates.

Announcing the agreement, Carl Day, Chief Executive of Felixstowe-based Harrison C White said, “We have worked with
Anchor Freight over numerous years and most recently working very closely on some very specific
joint venture projects, therefore, the natural synergies already formed makes this such a natural fit.

Bill Rinn was as much a friend as a colleague and his recent passing is a great loss, this is my way of
ensuring that his legacy will continue to grow from strength to strength in the future. We want to
build upon excellent pedigree that Anchor Freight already has today. Over the coming
weeks we plan to finalise an agreement with Anchor Freight and would like to reassure all staff and
customers of our commitment to developing the existing strong management combined with the
professional and dedicated staff that provide such a valued service to their clients.”
