Logistics BusinessPalletised Distribution Network Welcomes New Members

Leading UK palletised distribution network Palletline has announced two new members. The 100% member- owned network welcomes S&J European Haulage, of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, and ICT Express Ltd, of Coleshill, West Midlands.

Palletline Managing Director Graham Leitch said: “it is testament to the accommodating ethos of our robust member focused network, that territory has been made available for two quality transport businesses, supporting the network development strategy. Both ICT Express Ltd and S&J European share the traditional values of our shareholder members and are a complementary addition to the Palletline family”

Palletline Network Director Glenn Baker added “Without the support of the surrounding members to each of these companies, Palletline would not have been able to offer territory, this is a great challenge to have in a sector that sees a scramble to cover gaps whilst Palletline members are making space for peer businesses locally”

ICT Express will be responsible for some Birmingham, Walsall postcode areas, whilst S&J European will cover some Nottingham and Leicester territory.

Stephen Haines, Managing Director of S&J European Haulage explained “We have always seen Palletline as the number 1 UK Pallet Network and as a family business we see our values in smooth operation, close working relationships and performance quality being a natural fit with the Palletline values and standards”

The Directors and owners of ICT Express added “We are a business built on service and integrity with a flexible approach, Palletline has an ethical ‘DNA’ that reflects our own business values with a service to enhance our existing customer experience, one that we can be proud of!”

Palletline is a nationwide and only 100% member-owned cooperative network with more than 6,000 vehicles, 12,000 staff and access to over five million square feet of warehousing space.
