Logistics BusinessManitou Group Takes Part in the COP21 Debates
  • Manitou Group is aware of its responsibility in the challenges related to its markets. The group’s presence at the COP21 is in line with its CSR commitment.
  • This showcase allows the group to deepen the reach of its messages to push this industry forward.
  • Manitou Group is also proving that a French intermediate-sized company can make its business model evolve to develop sustainable solutions.

Manitou Group will attend the COP21, the UN climate conference (30 November to11 December), which brings together those governments keen to conclude a new global agreement on climate change. The group will be present within the Business Hub to share its CSR commitments and to deepen the reach of its messages within its sector.

Conscious of the economic, environmental and global societal issues related to its machine handling business, Manitou Group has committed to an ambitious CSR policy to offer a sustainable response to tomorrow’s needs. This commitment is based on three pillars: offer sustainable solutions, born by women and men of the group, in close collaboration with the supply chain.

Manitou Group was asked by the non-profit organisation “Responding To Climate Change” (RTCC), observers accredited by the United Nations Convention Framework on Climate Change, to intervene at the conference centre, the beating heart of the COP21, where only persons accredited by the United Nations can enter (government representatives, media, observers and business representatives).
