Realogis brokers about 10,000 sqm of logistics space for logistics specialist UTi in the ‘Eurolog Rade’ centre on the A1

Realogis, the leading German consultancy for logistics and industrial property and business parks, advised UTi Deutschland GmbH on the signing of a lease contract for about 10,000 sqm of reconditioned space in the Eurolog-Rade logistics centre located in the southern part of the Hamburg metropolitan region. The company, which specialises in air and sea freight as well as contract logistics, signed a long-term lease contract for approx. 9,000 sqm of storage space and about 920 sqm of office/social space in the high-quality logistics centre.

The modern logistics property (7 tonne gross weight; 10.5 m clear height under beams) provides the subsidiary company of the globally active U.S. logistics service provider, UTi, with a sufficient number of ramp gates for direct delivery and is also equipped with an ESFR high-pressure sprinkler system, which is in great demand particularly in the European logistics and automobile sectors. Following the signing of the lease, the four warehouses of Eurolog Rade (Otto-Lilienthal-Stra?e 1 a-d, Wenzendorf-Rade) are now fully occupied. The owner and landlord of the 37,000-sqm logistics centre, which also has direct access to the A1 motorway via the ‘Rade’ exit, is Garbe Logistic AG.


“The area to the south of the Hamburg metropolitan region, particularly the Buchholz/Rade region, is in strong demand primarily among logistics service providers,”
said Stefan Imken, senior consultant at Realogis Immobilien Hamburg GmbH. “Three major deals were signed here within a very short time, emphasising the attractiveness of the location.”
