Celebration Video For UK Logistics Operator

Independent logistics operator Europa Worldwide Group has launched a video to showcase the real people behind the on-going successes of the business as they tell the story of four years of what the company calls “challenge, courage and ambition”.
The video is filmed at Europa’s site in Dartford, a £30m facility which is the UK’s largest European groupage hub. The narrative is about the last four years, since MD Andrew Baxter acquired the business in 2013 and set about a bold front-end restructuring.
Baxter said: “When I acquired the business in 2013, it was clear we needed to restructure in order to thrive. We created separate divisions within in the business for Road, Air and Sea, Warehouse and Showfreight and invested in a new £30m 1Hub facility in Dartford. Four years later, we’re reaping the rewards, running at 25% – 35% consignment growth across the board and expanding our Road sales team by 30%. So we wanted to create a video to mark the success of this period, to bring to life what makes Europa tick.
Established 50 years ago as a European express freight service between the UK and Europe, Europa Worldwide Group now employs more than 600 people across 12 sites in the UK and Hong Kong, is represented in 100 countries and pushed through the £100m turnover mark at the end of 2016.
