Rare Car Shipper Acquired By Harrison C White

Imorex Shipping Services Limited, the Felixstowe based, specialist logistics service provider (founded in 1973) has been acquired by Harrison C White Ltd and joins their existing portfolio of Supply Chain, Control Tower and specialist logistics Service companies.
In addition to their global forwarding services, Customs brokerage, UK and Ireland distribution services from their port based warehousing facility, Imorex are a leader in the specialist Car packing and Shipping business, regularly handling rare and high value cars to and from worldwide destinations.
Founder and former owner, Alan Nunn will remain with the business as Non-Executive Chairman, with David Ablitt continuing to drive the business forward as Managing Director.
Announcing the deal, Carl Day, Chief Executive of Harrison C White said This is an exciting development for us, acquiring such a long established and well respected company with the pedigree of Imorex, will complement other companies in our group and provide us with excellent opportunities for continued growth.
He continued The existing strong management combined with the professional and dedicated staff are the true asset of the business and with our help and future investments, we hope to grow the business, to becoming one of the flagships of our group of companies. He concluded, we anticipate through intercompany activity, we will be providing additional groupage and full load services with Imorex firmly at the core of that activity.
