Rhenus Contract Logistics in Eindhoven, Netherlands has taken over all warehousing activities for Relevant Play, described as a fast growing and successful designer and developer of toys such as Kinetic Sand and #MadMattr. Both parties agreed that Rhenus will execute diverse logistics activities, from receiving and storing goods to kitting and sales order processing. Previously, the logistics services were handled by Relevant Play from a distribution facility in Sweden.

Relevant Play has ambitious growth plans for Europe and excellent logistics performance plays a key role in achieving this. Rhenus has been selected as the preferred logistics solutions partner based on two strong arguments. Firstly, the partnership between the toys designer and Rhenus Hong Kong for the Asian market, has been successful. Secondly, the Eindhoven logistics site of Rhenus is located on a strategic location to supply the European market.

In addition to the receiving, storing, kitting activities and sales order processing, Rhenus performs back office services through Rhenus Advanced Services (RAS), such as order acceptance, order entry, invoicing and financial reporting, all on behalf of Relevant Play. This type of customer service activities is vital for companies who wish to expand their business throughout Europe or even worldwide.
