Logistics BusinessASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems introduces a revolution in safe and secure truck docking

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, a leading supplier of entrance automation solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of Crawford DE6090TL Truck Lock, a new, innovative interlocking system for safer loading.

The new Crawford DE6090TL Truck Lock keeps trailers securely connected to loadhouse during loading and unloading to avoid vehicle creep. This helps prevent accidents and injuries and keeps goods flowing in the fast-paced loading bay environment.

Unique safety

The unique, patent-pending, locking device fulfills the growing demands from work safety bodies. It prevents the vehicle from moving and has early warning functions in the unlikely event of someone trying to drive off with the truck. It’s a truly economical way of increasing both the safety and the productivity of the loading bay area.

“The new truck lock is a completely manual system that quickly fixes to the rear hook inside trailers,”
says Juan Vargues, President ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. “It’s easily operated by one person and completely restrains the trailer to the loadhouse.”

This new and unique solution offers safe docking and release of trailers, even in ice and snow. There’s no need to install any equipment in the driving area, making it an economic solution to safer vehicle docking.”

Crawford DE6090TL Truck Lock will be available in Scandinavian markets from January 2015.
