EPC Logistics is returning to Multimodal for the fourth consecutive year to unveil its latest service offering to the global supply chain market. “Transatlantic Groupex” is a Logistics Groupex service that enables part loads of HD Class 1 goods to be loaded with other compatible products into a single consignment, delivering outstanding cost effective efficiencies.

With strategic logistical hubs in the United Kingdom, France, West Africa and on the East coast of America, EPC Logistics is ideally placed to handle these hazardous shipments regardless of location or route. The company can also receive dangerous goods into its European logistics hubs for onward movement, whilst significant storage options across multiple sites, provide long-term storage solutions or to allow the consolidation of cargo.

Ensuring the safe transportation of these hazardous goods from one location to another, requires compliance with complex regulations, adherence to best practice and an expert driver. EPC Logistics employs a highly skilled and experienced project management team to oversee these global shipments, with dedicated and knowledgeable account managers handling the entire logistics process, from planning to storage to delivery.

Integrated freight forwarding services also ensure Class 1 and defence materials are transported with the correct licences and permits, removing any challenges associated with transporting these goods across international borders.

“Multimodal is the premier event in our industry’s calendar and, as such, provides the perfect platform from which to launch our new “Transatlantic Groupex” service. It offers an ideal opportunity to meet both existing and potential customers and a chance to explain our new, cost effective, compliant service,” says Robert Addison, Commercial Manager at EPC Logistics.

“To celebrate the launch, we are giving away an ADR course, worth over £750, at our own Learning and Development Centre, which provides the very best driver training accredited by the Department of Transport, the Scottish Qualification Authority and the National Logistics Training Consortium. Visitors simply have to play our game, “spot the ship” and provide us with a business card to be in with a chance of winning. Good luck to everyone who enters!” adds Robert.

EPC Logistics’ skilled team will be on stand 4025 to answer all queries. To arrange a one-to-one meeting at Multimodal, visit http://www.epc-groupe.co.uk/ or call 01773 832 253.
