Software Solution to Boost Internal Material Transport

Software specialist inconso has introduced a new, SAP integrated solution for optimally planning and controlling internal material transports. The software solution designed for cross-system use supports the integrative consolidation of one to multi-stage transport processes in the internal network and allows for comprehensive movement and inventory transparency on the operational level.
inconsoS/TCS focuses on the continual tracking of internal transport movements, e.g. from goods receiving to the warehouse, to individual production stages, through to end assembly and shipping. To accomplish this, the system keeps an eye on forklifts, route trains and trucks between production, the warehouse, yard and subareas that are not systematically managed and, thus, enables an exact cross-area and cross-warehouse view of movements and inventories. In addition to transport processing, the solution includes packing functions for cross-document, multi-stage packing in the individual process stages.
The system ensures that objects to be moved arrive at the right location at the right time with minimal use of resources. Efficient use of transport resources ensures an algorithmic route optimization.
Communication with resources occurs via intuitive dialogs developed on the basis of SAP Fiori (SAPUI5). In combination with modern dashboards, inconsoS/TCS ensures maximum transparency in material movement, optimized resource use, enhanced inventory overviews and stable transport processes, e.g. in production supply and disposal.
