In addition, Hermes’ first-time delivery success rate for its standard service now stands at 98.2%, which exceeds the industry average of 92.4%.

Speaking after the awards ceremony, Carole said: “It is a huge honour to be named Leader of the Year at the Women in Logistics UK Awards. Across the industry there are a huge number of women that are making a very real and extremely valuable contribution and it is fantastic to see that number continuing to grow. At Hermes I’m dedicated to creating a level playing field by having an environment whereby employees of both genders can flourish.”
