Global logistics provider Agility has appointed Markus Lingohr as Managing Director for Area Central Europe, giving him responsibility for its operations in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland.

Lingohr brings more than 25 years of experience in the logistics industry. Prior to joining Agility, he was Managing Director for Air and Ocean Germany for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics with responsibility for all 12 Hellmann locations in Germany.

said Mike Bible, CEO, Agility Europe. “He is well-versed in managing large teams and complex challenges, and he comes with strong knowledge of the operational side of the business.”

A native of Germany, Linghor has also worked for Circle Freight (now CEVA Logistics), Thyssen Haniel Logistics (now DSV), and DB Schenker. He will be based in Hamburg, Germany.
