TIP Trailer Services Completes PEMA Deal

TIP Trailer Services has finalised the purchase of European truck leasing and rental business PEMA . With a strong presence in Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Switzerland,, PEMA’s acquisition is aimed to strengthen TIP in Europe, with “a more robust presence in Germany” according to CEO Bob Fast.
Together the companies have approximately 90,000 trailers and trucks as well as over 100 workshops, offering one of the largest repair networks in Europe and Canada with 208 mobile service vans, providing a one-stop-shop solution for a wide variety of vehicle equipment.
Customers will have a seamless service partner across Europe and Canada, they claim, simplifying their fleet management and enabling them to focus on their core business activities, while enjoying strong reliability and customer service.
The management of the combined companies are working together on an integration plan to allow a smooth transition. Until integration, existing contracts, services, terms and conditions and processes will remain in place at each of the businesses.
