Logistics BusinessWaste Disposal Firm Invests in Tanker Fleet

Kent (UK) based Robin Liquid Waste Disposal Ltd, is increasing its tanker fleet with the addition of a Renault Trucks Range K. The 32-tonne Range K460 8×4 rigid, supplied by Renault Trucks approved dealer, Renault Trucks Essex, has joined the company’s four-strong fleet and is mounted with a bespoke VJ Engineering 4,200 gallon vacuum tanker and equipped with a Jurop 520cfm pump.

The new Range K operates mainly across the South East collecting food waste from major food companies and delivering to farmers’ fields for composting and anaerobic digestion, generating methane gas for electricity production.

“Our business is thriving,” explains Director Robin Neal. “I needed an additional, reliable vehicle to cope with the extra demand. The Renault Trucks Range K came up trumps and offers excellent strength and ground clearance which are essential for the work we do. Composting sites and farmers’ fields can get sticky, but the Range K is an absolute powerhouse off road – we can get on and off the fields easily without getting towed off which is crucial in providing an efficient service to our customers.”
