Logistics BusinessFulfilment Specialist Achieves Amazon Prime Status

Fulfilment and technology specialist, Exact Abacus, has launched its ‘Seller Fulfilled Prime’ next day customer delivery service after meeting all the demanding compliance criteria for the Amazon channel sales programme.

Listing products under the Prime badge can help a seller significantly increase Amazon sales while allowing them to ship from their own warehouse or via a third-party logistics partner. Strict customer service requirements mean that many fulfilment specialists cannot operate with the agility required to meet next day delivery targets consistently. However, Exact Abacus says that integration of its technology with its automated handling and fulfilment capabilities it to overcome these challenges and meet Amazon’s compliance criteria with a 100 per cent same-day shipping commitment. The launch follows a successful pilot scheme, enabling Exact Abacus to go to market with a fully-tested and proven Prime fulfilment solution for customers that trade on Amazon.

The company has already secured its first Seller Fulfilled Prime customer, London-based multi-channel retailer, Clearstone Trading. Exact Abacus’ new service will enable Clearstone Trading to boost its sales on Amazon with a Prime listing, while servicing its next day delivery commitment from Exact Abacus’ Martland Park fulfilment centre in Wigan, rather than via Amazon’s distribution centres.
