Logistics BusinessConsultancy Supply Chain Forums to Address Retail Industry Woes

Two new UK forums have been launched to help homeware, garden and DIY manufacturers tackle the challenges presented by ongoing retail industry woes and a looming Brexit.

Leading supply chain and logistics consultancy SCALA believes that the key to thriving in the rapidly changing market is collaboration. As such, it has launched two new forums as part of its Supply Chain Best Practice programme to encourage businesses in the homeware, and garden and DIY sectors to share best practice and enhance their understanding of customer requirements, industry developments, trends and new regulations.

As well as providing an opportunity for greater collaboration and learning, the upcoming Homeware and Garden & DIY Forums will provide invaluable advice and support for attendees looking to achieve supply chain best practice, particularly in the wake of Brexit.

The inaugural meeting will take place on 22 January 2019 at the Leicester Marriott Hotel. The formation of the Homeware and Garden & DIY Forums follows on from the success of SCALA’s renowned events in the Home Appliance and Grocery and FMCG sectors whose attendees include Dyson, Kenwood De’Longhi, Russell Hobbs, Karcher, Birds Eye, Tetley, Unilever, Dr. Oetker and Fox’s Biscuits.

Most recently, its 15th Annual Supply Chain Debate – a key highlight in the logistics calendar – saw over 150 delegates gather to discuss who is driving innovation in the supply chain. High-profile speakers came from a range of renowned companies, including Sainsbury’s, Coca-Cola European Partners and Wincanton.
