EPC-UK has expanded its training offering to include the ADR Driver Training Specialist Class 1 Explosives Course, incorporating the full 35 hours of DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) periodic training which will be required by JAUPT (Joint Approvals for Periodic Training) by 2019.

Through the five and a half day ADR course, EPC-UK, a market leader in the specialisation of the transportation of petroleum chemicals and explosives, shares its extensive industry expertise, helping to ensure attendees meet the regulatory requirements whilst maintaining the highest levels of business competence.

Covering all aspects specified by CDG (Carriage of Dangerous Goods), the course is run from EPC-UK’s state-of-the-art Learning and Development Centre in the East Midlands. Content is delivered through relevant and engaging presentations, as well as demonstrations on how this newly acquired knowledge can be practically applied, providing clients with an interactive and cost-effective compliance training programme.

Ben Williams, Managing Director of EPC-UK, explains, “The introduction of this new legislation means it is now even more imperative for both drivers and company owners alike to ensure they have the correct training and qualifications.”

EPC-UK was awarded its accreditation by JAUPT (Joint Approvals for Periodic Training), SQA and the National Logistics Consortium in December 2015. For further information about EPC-UK’s ADR Driver Training Courses visit www.epc-groupe.co.uk/courses.
