Inform, which describes itself as an intelligent decision-making software provider, will present FELIOS | PM, a new platform for project management in machine and systems engineering, at LogiMAT 2018.

FELIOS | PM is a cross functional tool for project planning, which visualizes a company’s entire value-added chain. The idea is to make it no longer necessary to merge manually endless amounts of often redundant data from different sources. Inform says this results in a much higher reliability and validity of the data. Based on the central data pool, a real time alert system warns of planning conflicts in advance. This way, companies improve their delivery reliability and plan their orders easily and realistically across different departments.
“The new FELIOS | PM is specifically tailored to the needs of companies with a high assembly rate in machine and systems engineering, while our other existing product FELIOS | APS is rather production-oriented”, explains Markus Günther, product manager of FELIOS. “The combination of these two is a general planning solution for companies with both assembly and production.”

The software can be used by all departments of a company along the value chain and during the whole period of a project.

“We have developed a completely new approach for project management in this industry, because up until this point, every part of production has been using its own, independent tool”, says Andreas Gladis, Senior Vice President of the production division and member of the management board. “FELIOS | PM, on the other hand, links all departments with each other, that have otherwise worked with their own planning systems. As a strategic partner, we offer our customers an additional, important tool, for them to operate sustainably and successfully in global competition.”
