Logistics BusinessLogistics-Specific Permits and Safety Software Launched by Offshore Specialist

A new web-based system for logistics operators – SitePlanner – has been launched by software specialist SeaRoc Group.

SitePlanner provides businesses within the transport and logistics industry with a compliant and auditable system for managing inductions, personnel certification, access levels, RAMS and Permit to Work – all within one centralised system.

“From working closely with existing clients, we understand the consistent challenges experienced by companies working in large-scale, hazardous environments such as the logistics sector,” Steve Pears, SeaRoc Group’s Managing Director said.

“We’ve designed the SitePlanner system to help these businesses directly tackle these challenges which results in significant time and cost savings. We often see companies utilising multiple systems for the management of inductions, certification and permits which is inefficient and usually not compliant with data protection regulations (GDPR). SitePlanner system is tried and tested, and provides clients with the means to manage a safe operation in a fully auditable way that is compliant with best practices.”

SeaRoc Group has been providing software solutions for managing personnel and operations in high-risk, challenging environments since 2006, where they have supported some of the world’s most demanding offshore projects. The company has now launched SitePlanner – its Personnel Management System for ensuring the safety of personnel, compliance and control over operational activity on large-scale projects on land as well as at sea.
