Logistics BusinessFirst Anniversary For Packaging Services Provider

UK packaging service provider, Packaging Services Europe Ltd (PSE), is celebrating its first anniversary.

Established in 2016 by Jane Gorick, formerly of LPR and CHEP, and Andrew Parkinson, co-founder of CEL (Customate Europe Ltd) and managing director of Numafa Cleaning & Automation UK, PSE provides a tailored packaging wash, inspect and repair service for reusable pallets and crates. Businesses benefiting from the service to maintain hygiene and quality standards operate across a broad range of sectors, including FMCG, automotive, engineering and retail.

Andrew Parkinson, co-founder at PSE, said: “The combined experience we have across the industrial washing sector helped us to realise a gap in the market for a specialist service provider for reusable transit packaging (RTP). Our comprehensive solution for RTP utilises our expertise in mechanical engineering and we look forward to continuing to expand our services using feedback from clients, allowing us to tailor solutions to their needs.”

Jane Gorick, co-founder at PSE, added: “We have enjoyed strong and steady growth throughout the past year which sees us servicing over 50% of the plastic pallet washing market. Having opened with no staff or contracts, we have rapidly expanded to a fully operational site at Nuneaton and have won a number of high profile contracts in just 12 months. We believe 2017 will also yield further growth.”

PSE says it delivers a fast, flexible and – crucially – bespoke service through its network of strategically located facilities across the UK.
