LPR promotes Andrew Lee to new role

As LPR continues its fast-paced growth, it has promoted retail manager, Andrew Lee, to commercial manager. This new role in the business will see Andrew take on the account management of key customers, as well as being a driving force in LPR’s expansion strategy.

Andrew has been with LPR since 2007, when he joined as a field service executive before being promoted to retail manager, where he took on liaising with all LPR’s customers’ customers such as the large retailers to ensure that pallets are kept within LPR’s supply chain and are returned to the company.

As commercial manager, Andrew will be helping to direct LPR’s growth strategy and take the company’s one-way-trip and distinctive red pallet to even more FMCG manufacturers.

Jane Gorick, LPR’s managing director commented: “We’re delighted to see Andrew as commercial manager. It’s a new role that is now needed to help us sustain our high growth levels of the last few years and Andrew’s experience and knowledge makes him ideal. His work with the retailers over the last year or so has been successful, helping to build even stronger relationships and improve our asset management.”

Andrew Lee added: “It’s a very exciting time to be with LPR, in the time I’ve been with the company our reputation has grown, which has been reflected in the big brand contracts we’ve won. My new role is going to be an interesting challenge and enables me to use the knowledge and relationships I’ve gained so far, while playing a prominent role in continuing the upward trajectory of LPR.”

The latest financial figures show that LPR UK grew by 30 per cent in 2008/9, taking the company’s turnover to £10million, while across Europe, LPR Group’s turnover exceeded 100 million Euros and pallet movements increased by 10 per cent to 38 million pallets.
