Lange recruited to head Octavian's continuous improvement strategy

Hoddesdon based Premium Product Logistics Provider Cert Octavian has appointed ex-Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd lean logistics professional John Lange as Head of Continuous Improvement.

Lange, 44, will spearhead Cert Octavian’s lean methodology which is a critical element of their Every Customer, Highly Satisfied programme, creating customer approvals of enough significance to prompt positive referrals to others. Lange will be based at Cert Octavian's Hoddesdon Service Centre but will also be working nationwide at Cert Octavian's other Service Centres including Lutterworth and Rotherham. Lange is experienced in implementing lean practices in the Automotive, Rail, Pharmaceutical and Ship Building sectors for companies including MacFab Systems, BVT Ship Building, Bombardier Transportation, Syncreon (supplying to Vauxhall), ConvaTec Limited as well as Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd.

He joined Cert Octavian initially on an interim consultative basis but has now been appointed to the Executive Management Team.
