Multy-Lift joins Mitsubishi dealer network and unveils new 25,000 sq ft premises

Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has appointed “the region’s most dynamic fork truck supplier” as its authorised dealer for the East Midlands. As a result of this move Multy-Lift will offer – direct from the factory – the full, award-winning range of Mitsubishi forklift trucks and warehouse equipment.

The move coincides with a move by Multy-Lift to what is believed to be the largest independent fork truck facility in the region. These new, 25,000 sq ft premises will act as the hub of a highly efficient service operation which, in turn, is backed by a parts support network that is, without question, the finest in the forklift truck industry. Moreover, the new centre will enable Multy-Lift to fully refurbish any make of truck and offer truck users a wide selection of pre-owned equipment that is virtually ‘as new’.

“Multy-Lift is widely recognised as one of the country’s most progressive fork truck companies” said Mike Jones, General Manager of Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks UK. Now in it’s twenty third year of operations the company combines a wealth of experience with the latest technologies to achieve a level of responsiveness that is hugely valued by its large customer base. It is a measure of the high standards to which the company adheres that Multy-Lift holds ISO9001:2000 Quality Management, Environmental BS EN ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 – a truly exceptional achievement among independent dealerships. Their strength and expertise will be major assets to our network. “

Multy-Lift Managing Director Wayne Hammond is in no doubt that the Mitsubishi line-up perfectly complements his own company's business: “We chose to take on the Mitsubishi dealership to give our customers access to some of the best trucks on the market. We were particularly impressed by the short lines of communication between ourselves and the factory which means we can respond very quickly and effectively. As a result our customers benefit from market-leading forklifts and Multy-Lift’s high levels of service support – the perfect combination.”

Multy-Lift’s team of mobile service engineers operates throughout the East Midlands and beyond. The engineers can even provide 24/7 servicing to ensure maximum productivity for customers. The company also offers competitive finance packages for new or used equipment, and flexible contracts for long or short term hire, meaning that a deal can always be tailored to meet the customer’s materials handling needs and budget.
