RS Components renews DB Schenker contract for a further 12 months

RS Components is one of the world's leading distributors of electronic, electrical, electromechanical and industrial products, offering a breadth of over 350,000 different product lines.

Schenker Limited and RS Components have been working together since 1998 and have built up considerable traffic levels. Last year in excess of seven million kgs were shipped via Nuneaton from the UK to the various European destinations. In addition, around 675,000 kgs of import deliveries were shipped from RS branches and suppliers throughout Europe and Scandinavia back to the United Kingdom.

“In the high service environment of RS components speed and reliability are key, as is delivering value for money. The re-signing of this contract reflects DB Schenker’s ability to help us do that,” says Anne Bruggink, General Manager Supply Chain, Logistics and Facilities, RS Components.
