RAVAS UK improves savings and lead times in
cooperation with Wright Attachments.

From the left: Michael Wheaton (Midland Fork Lifts), Nicola Whittle (RAVAS), Ian Wright (Wright Attachments), Simon Lewis (Midland Fork Lifts) With over 25 years experience throughout Europe, in 2008 RAVAS opened an office in the UK (www.ravas.com) for sales, servicing and installation of RAVAS Mobile Weighing systems. To achieve total coverage RAVAS UK are in cooperation with Wright Attachments to enable RAVAS mobile weighing systems to be integrated into warehouse trucks and stacker trucks.

Installation of mobile weighing systems in warehouse trucks means incorporating scale components in the forks of the electropallettruck or the stacker causing the fork height to increase by only 5 mm. Wright Attachments (www.wright-attachments.com) have over 40 years experience specializing in material handling solutions, fork lift truck attachments and the manufacturing of bespoke attachments with many of their products available for hire as well as for sale.

RAVAS UK Area Manager, Nicola is ‘thrilled with the development that RAVAS can now offer the modification of any brand warehouse trucks in the UK, which not only saves our customers money, but moreover improves on the lead times. We have now completed our first modification ordered by Midland Fork Lifts.’ (www.midlandforklifts.co.uk – over 35 years experience of new and used truck sales, hire, service and maintenance of materials handling equipment).

RAVAS - mobile weighing - operates for one year in the UK

RAVAS leading producer of mobile scales
RAVAS mobile scales installed on forklift trucks and warehouse trucks display the weight of every pallet or container lifted. This saves time, manpower and floor space. The information from these mobile scales enables companies to realize immediate cost savings, to make their intralogistics cheaper and more efficient, to raise the quality of their products and services, and therefore increase client satisfaction.

RAVAS mobile scales can link directly to WMS or ERP software packages, via existing wireless networks. This transforms lift trucks into platforms for gathering information on material flows, next to their basic function of materials handling equipment. This unique piece of added value is one of the reasons why the market for mobile scales is booming.

RAVAS has existing production facilities in the Netherlands and in China. RAVAS has been the leading producer of mobile scales for more than 25 years, with a 50% European market share. RAVAS mobile scales are characterized by superior Dutch engineering and proven quality and reliability. NTEP certified, legal for trade versions are available for many models and applications.
