Karl Nutzinger joins Schenker AG Board of Management

Karl Nutzinger has been appointed to the Board of Management of Schenker AG, Essen, with effect from November 1 of this year. Nutzinger will be responsible for the European Land Transport business unit and also for the Region Europe, succeeding Hans-Jörg Hager, who left the company on June 30, 2008.

Nutzinger (51) last served as Chairman of the Management Board of Wincanton GmbH in Germany and was a member of the UK-based logistics group’s Executive Board. Previously, he was the CEO of GeoLogistics Ltd. in London from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, Karl Nutzinger worked at Schenker AG in Essen as the Regional Director Europe Central from 2000 to 2003.
