Samuk's newest dealer scoops sales award
Leading UK fork truck supplier Samuk has presented its inaugural Dealer of the Month award to IP Forktrucks, the newest dealer to the Samuk network. The Sandbach-based firm picked up the performance award thanks to its excellent recent sales results.
IP Forktrucks has only been a member of the Samuk dealer network since April this year but, by July, had already sold some 13 trucks to a variety of customers. The trucks sold include many from Samuk’s high-speed ‘R’ series, whose models have a solid reputation as value-for-money, reliable workhorses. Based on a common floor pan – like cars – the R Series offers three specifications to meet the requirements of different applications.
“It’s great to receive this award, particularly in light of the fact that we’ve been a Samuk dealer for less than six months,” says a delighted Leon Corker, IP’s General Manager. “Our customers appreciate the importance we place on service and customer care. Many of the big forklift truck companies have forgotten this side of the business – dealers are just numbers to them. Thankfully Samuk is different and that’s why IP Forktrucks fits so well into the Samuk network.”
IP Forktrucks covers an area including Staffordshire and south and central Cheshire, offering sales, service and rental of forktrucks, as well as parts and consumables. The firm is a sister company to Hosemedic and Isherwoods Plant and, thanks to this history, it boasts a six-strong team of highly experienced service engineers in fully-equipped vans, able to service and maintain the fork truck range. Leon Corker adds, “ We believe that we continually prove the benefit of personal service from a local dealer by engineers who really know the trucks thus making parts identification easy and quick – right first time!”
Samuk trucks are designed to be easily serviced by competent mechanical engineers, without the need for laptops or complicated technology. Although the basic design is simple, advanced engines mean lower noise and vibration levels, as well as reduced emissions. Factor in excellent visibility, full-suspension seats for added comfort and smooth, quiet hydraulics and it’s easy to see why so many companies, drivers and engineers are beating a path to Samuk’s door.
The company also offers same-day parts despatch, a range of service and maintenance options plus cost-effective finance packages to suit the tightest of budgets.
