Forklift truck manufacturer Jungheinrich has announced the launch of the EJE C20 - a new energy efficient electric pedestrian pallet truck designed to be suitable for order picking and light stacking work.

Equipped with a powerful, maintenance-free drive motor with AC technology, the truck offers high levels of energy efficiency as well as high travel speeds and powerful acceleration.

The new pallet truck features support arms that allow loads to be lifted up to 752 mm with a single mast integrated in the battery compartment. This facility raises loads to a comfortable height and means less back strain for order picking staff. Light stacking work can also be carried out effortlessly and economically with the support arms and mast lift functions. In powered pallet truck mode the capacity is 2,000 kg while the lifting capacity is 700 kg.

The truck features a completely redesigned tiller head which is comfortable to use in any position, while a shunting button allows the operator to move the truck slowly forward or backward as required even when the tiller is in the upright position.
