Logistics BusinessThemes and Speakers Revealed For Manhattan London Conference

Manhattan Associates has released further details of themes and speakers at its EMEA Exchange 2017 conference, to be staged on October 3-4 at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, UK.

The conference will provide commerce innovators, business leaders and industry practitioners from retail, logistics services, wholesale and manufacturing an opportunity to share their insights and experiences from the fast-evolving world of multi-channel commerce. Manhattan EMEA Exchange helps organisations maximise the effectiveness of their omni-channel, supply chain and inventory operations to profitably operate in today’s dynamic business environment, efficiently managing orders across multiple channels and fulfilling ever more demanding customer needs.

Henri Seroux, Senior Vice President EMEA at Manhattan Associates, commented, “Technology has created more informed, connected consumers, no longer loyal to a brand but to an experience across channels. Delegates attending Manhattan EMEA Exchange 2017 will hear first-hand how the recently launched Manhattan Active Solutions are helping businesses keep up with their tech-savvy customers to deliver the integrated cross-channel service experience they crave.”

With track sessions focusing on Customer Centricity, Grocery and Wholesale, the event tackles a range of issues including: synchronising people, processes and technology across channels to improve the customer experience; competing to win against Amazon; and how B2B distributors are connecting, delivering and succeeding in the manner of today’s leading retailers.

The keynote and customer speakers at Manhattan EMEA Exchange 2017 include:

• Matt Stringer, Global Product Officer, Mothercare – Driven by the classic desire to improve the customer experience whilst ensuring the bottom-line is intact, Mothercare has undergone a digital transformation that has touched every area of its business. Mr. Stringer’s session will provide an insight into how the company has evolved from a traditional store retailer with a website to a digital powerhouse offering a seamless shopping experience across channels, and how it is delighting customers with shorter lead-times while simultaneously reducing costs.

• Giuseppe Guillot, Logistics and Systems Infrastructure Director, Kurt Geiger – From covetable footwear on Bond Street to an enviable omni-channel commerce player on the global stage, Kurt Geiger is forging ahead with a mission to please its customers by leveraging technology and empowering its employees. By putting Order Management and Warehouse Management at the heart of its business, it is transforming its order orchestration and execution to underpin its growth plans. In this session, Mr. Guillot will bring to life the business’s vision, the road travelled so far, and the next steps on the journey.

• Barry Morgan, Senior Technical Manager, The Co-op – In this session, delegates will hear how The Co-op migrated onto the Manhattan Platform to drive service level improvements for its 4,000 food stores. Mr. Morgan will explain how The Co-op organised its teams to ensure the system go-lives at each of its 12 depots were executed smoothly and on time.

• Eddie Capel, President and CEO, Manhattan Associates – In his keynote address, Mr. Capel will walk the audience through Manhattan Active Solutions and explain how this next generation of software and services provides customers faster access to Manhattan’s latest innovations. The session will highlight how the solutions – always current, able to run anywhere, seamlessly interconnected and adaptive – help customers to better streamline service, inventory and execution activities across the enterprise.
