Logistics BusinessTSC to Highlight Thermal Transfer Printer Series at interpack

TSC Auto ID is to showcase its brand new thermal transfer printer series MH240 at interpack in May. Meanwhile, in the desktop printer sector, the dynamic manufacturer will present its “compact TE printer series with a large number of standard features including impressive ribbon flexibility”. Also in the Dusseldorf spotlight will  be the reliable mobile receipt printer Alpha-2R which features 17 hours of usage on one battery charge.

TSC says its high-performance printer series, including MH240 (203 dpi), MH340 (300 dpi) and MH640 (600 dpi), is equipped with a completely new and reliable print mechanism. Thanks to Thermal Smart Control™ the three models offer the best print quality in its class. Fast print speed up to 14 ips and the latest generation 536 Mhz processor ensure an efficient printing process. Media handling including 600 meter ribbon supply is simple, powerful sensors provide precise positioning of labels. State-of-the-art is also the user-friendly 3.5“ color touch display with 6 menu buttons in a very modern ID design and the label preview allowing the verification of label layouts on the display before the label is printed. So, with MH models as well as with upcoming MH240T and MH240P series, TSC continues to complete its industrial printer portfolio with a very powerful MH family.

TSC’s desktop thermal printers TE200 and TE300 are characterized by ” best in-class performance-ratio at a price other printers simply can´t match”. As standard the compact printer features print speeds at an industry best 6 ips, modern interfaces, a fast 400 Mhz processor, 16 MB of DRAM and 8 MB of Flash storage memory and a powerful firmware. Also, they offer an excellent ribbon supply which is usually integrated in midrange models taking both 1/2” core 72 meter to 110 meter, or 1” core 300-meter thermal transfer ribbons allowing customers to use whichever supply of ribbons they have available. The print module can be removed from its housing and used for individual applications at the kiosk, two-color printing or double-sided printing. The additional TE210 series models are equipped not only with USB but a wide range of modern interfaces such as RS-232, USB host, Ethernet and internal Bluetooth 4.0 as option. So they can be integrated in IT structures without any problems or work as stand-alone-solution by using a keyboard.

The Taiwanese manufacturer also presents its smallest mobile receipt printer Alpha-2R. The 350g lightweight model was designed to be ENERGY STAR 2.0 compliant featuring 17 hours of usage on a battery charge. With 128 MB FLASH and 64 MB SDRAM the portable printer offers the highest memories and with a media capacity of 58 mm wide and a maximum receipt roll out diameter of 50 mm the largest media capacity in the 2’’ receipt market.

In Dusseldorf, TSC also demonstrates its high innovative power by many other models of all size classes, efficient device solutions (external label rewinder) and consumables (ribbons and wristbands). The integrated brand Printronix Auto ID will present its industrial product highlights at interpack as well at the booth of TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH.
