Clipper Logistics PLC has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer. Emma Dempsey, who prior to joining Clipper held roles at Accenture, Marks & Spencer and Unipart, has over 20 years’ experience working in supply chain.

As Chief Operating Officer, Emma will be responsible for customer operations projects, IT delivery, quality implementation and the development of operational innovation. The role is designed to ensure that Clipper continue to deliver outstanding services to their customers, particularly through continual innovation. Emma’s previous roles in strategic consulting and retail logistics operations, and her vast experience in the industry perfectly position her for the new role.

On her appointment, Emma said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Clipper team. They have a fantastic reputation, and the way that they focus on their customers is what makes them industry leaders and true innovators. I’m looking forward to putting my energy, knowledge and expertise towards the future success of the Clipper business.”
