New EME management centre for Toll

Expanding Toll Global Forwarding has opened a new Regional Management Centre in Zurich, Switzerland, signifying the increasing importance of the Europe and Middle East region in the company’s global growth plans.

Headed up by Hakan Bicil (Regional MD, EME), the new office will eventually house twenty regional managers. Already, recently-appointed Director of Sales Volkwart Ovens, Heiko Blume (Regional Director – Procurement and Quality), Daniel Nordman (HR) and Goetz von Groll (Business Processes) have taken up residence, along with support and administration staff. The office will also function as a new sales base for Switzerland.

Says Bicil: “The new Management Centre brings all our regional managers together in a central location, where they can function as a close-knit team. It also enables them easily to reach all points in our expanding Europe and Middle East network. This new Management centre will become increasingly important as our regional structure grows, and requires more central support functions.”

The new office is located at Kloten, close to Zurich Airport.
